We are back with more exciting updates! Today, we are thrilled to introduce to you what we do at AlexWorks, our 3D printing workshop based in Christchurch.
We endeavour to offer practical and creative solutions with a focus on sustainability. We are proud to say that all of our 3D printed creations are made using Bioplastics derived from the renewable plant-based materials like corn, cassava, and sugarcane!
Our primary material is Polylactic Acid (PLA), which is biodegradable and environmentally responsible thermoplastic. In warm, moist, and aerobic industrial settings, bioplastics begin to biodegrade through microbial activity, leaving a significantly smaller environmental footprint compared to conventional plastics.
One of our most popular items is a 3D printed custom name tag! We offer name tag printing service at AlexWorks and you can customise it with any names or words you want. It is a practical option for anyone who wants a personal touch on their belongings, and especially for kids.
Our personalised name tags have received positive feedbacks from parents and kindergarten teachers! Aiding in multi-sensory education, name recognition & early literacy, a name tag will be a great gift for any children.
